Trouble
Currently however, I am partying...oops, I mean studying *grin* at Central Queensland University (CQU) in Rockhampton, QLD., which, if you look ona map of Australia you will see is approximately half way between Townsville and Brisbane.
I am undertaking a 3 year Bachelor of Arts course, (with 1995 being my 2nd year), majoring in Journalism and Geography, with a couple of Tourism and ommunications subjects also thrown in there somewhere : )
I first discovered the Internet around Aug - Sept. in 1994, when I never used to see some of my friends because they were always up in the computer labs at Uni. talking to people over this thing called Email. I wanted to know what it was that was hiding a few of my friends from me, soone Friday night after we'd all been to Happy Hour (not that I drink oranything *grin* heheh) at the Student Club (Hey! RobRoy's bar wasn't open at that stage! :)), we all went (umm...staggered...heheh) to the computerlabs where my friends taught me how to email before we hit the nightclubs later that night.
A couple of weeks later, I learn't how to IRC. My first nickname (& the one I was hoping to stick with, however couldn't cause someone else always had it!) was 'Wanderer'...With my second choice being 'Mischief' (Goodness knows why *grin* hehe). Well, someone always had that nick too, so I finally had to settle for 'Trouble', which is generally the nick you can find me under these days. (I have yet to work out WHY I chose that nick!? I mean, come on guys! Me? Trouble? Nahh...*grin* :)). Failing that, you can try 'PhotoJour'a nick I've recently taken up also, as, over the Summer holidays (Dec - Feb) when I wasn't at Uni., a few more 'Trouble' makers seemed to have turned up & now keep claiming my nick! Godamnit!! *Pout* ('Aye' Pict me mate, I threw that *Pout* in just for you! Heheh) : )
Well, if you're wondering how this Aussie came to spend most of her time on #Scotland, then this is how it all started: One of the very first people I spoke to & got to know was that good ol' babe Cheesedip...That was back on #Friendly, where he, eventually myself, & a couple of other cool dudes (Mipe & Manz from Finland) used to live most of the time : )
After finally returning to IRC about March '95, after being on Summer hols since the end of November (& then not being able to get onto IRC due to the Uni. removing the student Internet privileges for a while - I guess some silly person abused the system), I discovered that the majority of people on #Friendly were new - Nothing wrong with that, except I missed all my old buddies! I finally found Cheesedip & Mipe, & discovered that #Scotland had been born (With the Finnish dudes moving over to #Harmless)...I thus came to say hi to my CDbabe...Met most people on #Scotland...& they've never been able to get rid of me ever since! (Must be those great jokes I tell, eh!? Heh! Just Kidding! : ))
I'd also just like to say a special hello to some of the other very first people I ever spoke to on IRC back in '94 (besides those already mentioned)....including PAVV from Poland (hey, keep up the English practice dude, you're doing great :)), Pav from England, Spiderman from Canada, Gary from New Zealand (thanks for the pub crawl in Auckland dude! :)), Swish, Jaxon (hey cutie ;)), Trotsky/murrayg, Hades and Taxman from Oz (where ARE you 2 these days??), Anchor (USA), and of course, my favourite Volley-Ball playing (yet annoying little GIT ;)) South African - Stevec, you're a GREAT friend you, PLEASE keep in touch, you frustrating bugger ;P hehe :))
Of course, I have since met *HEAPS* of other great people over the years & have discovered a couple of other cool channels...including....my 'family' from #Scotland (there are too many of ya to mention! hehe, but you know who you are!! :)), Di, ^Joker (heya my mantle piece! *grin* lol! ;)), & SPLATch (;P) from #za & #moonbeam (South African channels).... as well as Aster myloyalsubjectchocolateeastereggtypescottishbabe :) hehe, IGGY (ya English Git ;P) hehe, Fuzzsteel, Shana/Michele (both USA) and many, many, many,MANY others!! :) If I haven't named you here, don't worry, it doesn't mean that I have forgotton you, of course I still love you, you just haven't sent me enough money to put your name ON here!! *grin* hehe Just Kidding!! :)) (hey now THERE is an easy way to get out of it, right!? hehe :))
And hi to all my friends on all the Australian, South African, European and Undernet, as well as the U.S. chatnet servers!! A big "G'day!" & *hugs* & *waves* to ya's all :))
Ok, so what else can I bore you with?
*MY INTERESTS:
I absolutley *love* to socialise & meet people; Travel (I want to go
*everywhere* & meet *everyone!* Heheh) :); Write letters to people
(I have *heaps* of penpals); Dance all night at nightclubs at *least*
twice a week, hehheh; Learn about different countries & cultures etc; Listen
to music (I like just about anything & everything, with my music collection
ranging from a bit of Country to songs from the '60s, '70s & '80s to the
latest Top 40 to Hard Rock to a bit of heavier stuff to Alternative to R & B
to Reggae...I guess Classical is probably the only type of music I've never
really got into!? I'd have to rank Bon Jovi, U2, Poison & Def Leppard among
my all-time favourite groups though. And, yes Iggy, I even have THAT album
by New Order!! Heh heh : )
I also love animals & taking photos! I am very *_rarely_* without my camera & take just as many photos as Iggy claims to! (Babelicious: just ask Athena!)(Similarly to Iggy, I have approx. 1200+ pics since 1988! My latest k-balance-breaking photo experience was when I took 12 & 1/2 films worth of photos on a 3 week trip to New Zealand!!)
To sum it all up, I am very much a "people person" & love all my friends & having having photos of them etc : )
Ok, now, after all that crap - here's the TRUTH *grin*
Really, I am a Sheep in disguise (Well, I'm from the right part of the world,
aren't I!? Hehe), who has kidnapped Cheesedip's monkey & is holding it
for ransom. So far it likes living in Australia, as it doesn't get spanked
quite so often! *grin* ;)

Ok, now, after all that crap - here's the TRUTH *grin* Really, I am a Sheep in disguise (Well, I'm from the right part of the world, aren't I!? Hehe),And baaaby, I'm sick of all those sheep jokes that go on between the guys on #Scotland! They are such baaad ones! (Heheh) :) I am just waiting for the right moment when I can reveal my true identity & get my own back for all those jokes! (Oh, what was that Iggy? You weren't joking about RobRoy & THAT!?? Oh well, that's just too baaad then!) Heheh *grin* : )
The first 2 pics are a couple of years old, however the last one was taken in July '95. We were on our College's annual Pub Crawl at the time, thus why I look so...well...'Happy'. *Grin* Heheh :) I had to include the 3rd one, as otherwise I would've felt like I wasn't living up to the (it seems) drunken image that people on #Scotland seem to be upholding these days (CD, RR etc... Look how badly you have all influenced this young innocent!!) Heheh : )
