Thanos

Hey there! Yes! It's finally me! Thanos aka RuneMage aka MattyV aka schmoopy aka... whatever else I feel like using.. :) My real name is Matthew Vidal. I'm filipino but born and raised here in West Virginia. Don't worry! I don't have a WV accent! I go to West Virginia University with Natas over there. I'm currently majoring in computer and electrical engineering.

I love to go dancing at clubs and raves. I may not be good at dancing, but I really don't care! I just love to get down and groove :) Hip-Hop, R&B, Techno, Trance,... you name it, I listen to it. I am by far not a party animal, although on occasion, I do liked to get thoroughly pissed, but that only happens rarely...

I also have many other interests. I've been playing tennis and skiing for about 10-12 years now. I play MtG (Magic: the Gathering). I love watching TV, espcially Star Trek and all of Thursday Night line up on NBC (ER, Seinfeld, Friends). I love reading books! My favorite authors are Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (Sci-Fi/Fantasy writers), but I also like reading a good Steinbeck novel (East of Eden, Of Men and Mice). Because of my love for fantasy and fiction, I also like Roleplaying. I'm into Dungeons and Dragons, Champions, Mech Warrior, and lots of other games. ( no! I am not a freak! ) I'm also always up for a good game of chess.

I came to #scotland back in Feb. of '95. I first got ops there from L_Man during a Latvian attack! Ever since that first rush of IRC Battle, I've come back to #scotland for more :) I casually frequent #Bob's_Tavern, #Cafe, #Wicca, and #Australia, but I'll always return home to sweet Bonnie #Scotland.

Well, that's about all the damage I can do to myself. Maybe I'll add more on later. I am definitely going to add more pictures of myself (along with other friends) so you'll be seeing more of me!
