I've just finished my 3rd year in biology. (I wish I could get out of this place!) I live in Calumet Residence during the school year. Calumet happens to be one of the nicest (and newest) rezes on campus! (That means no bugs and not too many mice!)

Career Goals (?!!) I hope to study medicine eventually. (With a little bit of bloomin' luck...) I may be interested in aviation medicine. I once worked as a research assistant at the Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine (DCIEM) in the Aerospace Life Sciences department.

But if I don't get into medical school, I suppose I'll just have to pursue my all-time favourite hobby... That's right!! Sleeping! That's me in my natural state. This pic was taken in the Cayman Islands with yours truly basking near the ocean. That's a Tilley hat shading the top of my head and an Economics textbook on my chest. Yup, some of you who attempted OAC Economics may note that familiar textbook design... Oh, in case you're wondering, the wooden bit off to the right is the pool. Care for a swim, anyone?

Interests: It just so happens that I'm a member of the performer's union known as the Alliance of Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). Try and find me in the CN Tower Ecodeck commercial with David Suzuki! I'm currently working as a host and as an on-air correspondant for the television show "Word" on Channel 10. We've just shot our last episode for the season so be sure to check it out! (Look for it on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, Fridays at 11:30pm and Sundays at 4pm.)

Hobbies: I love to scuba dive. I've dived in Jamaica, Mexico, the Carribean and the Cayman Islands. If you ever get the chance to see "Stingray City" on Grand Cayman - do it! (It's fantastic!)

Woah!! Sorry about this pic but I haven't got the scanner working quite right. Oh, well. Those ominous shapes are actually stingrays and I'm the diver on the left who's feeding them bits of chicken. (honest!)

Since I was in the Air Cadets for 6 years, I've completed my glider and private pilot's licenses. However, flying can be a bit expensive and I haven't had too much time or money lately!

That's me and my instructor Glennis Walsh after my first solo. I did my flight training up in North Bay, Ontario. It's an absolutely gorgeous place to fly.

Travel: I love to travel. My last trip was to Britain in February. (yipee!) I hung out in London and saw a bit of Wales. Loads o' fun! I got to meet some pals from the Internet. Check out a pic of me under my IRC nick Jewel. (You gotta scroll down a bit!)

This is a picture of my beloved doggie, Pepper. He's a Dandie Dinmont terrier (we think). He kind of resembles a little rug. He sleeps under my bed at night.

My sister tells me when I'm away at university, he sits by the window and stares outside all day long. Eventually, when it gets dark, he goes and sits by the front door. When it gets really late and I show no sign of coming home, he gives a little sigh and waddles upstairs to fall asleep outside my bedroom door.
